Communion of Saints (720x108”) and The Crucifixion (120x240”) are commissioned acrylic murals painted on canvas and panel, created for the sanctuary of St. Anne Church of All Saints Parish, Alpena, MI in 2016-18. After a 2015 merging of the four independent parishes which make up All Saints Parish, the artworks were commissioned as a unifying architectural design element. They consist of a central depiction of the crucifixion and 62 life-size portraits of saints, including the four patron saints of the former parishes (St. Anne, St. Bernard, St. John the Baptist, and St. Mary, the Immaculate Conception).


Legacy Mural, Amazon Air, Erlanger, KY. Digital Painting, translucent vinyl on glass, 2024

The Legacy Mural is composed of two digital paintings installed in translucent vinyl on glass, commissioned by Amazon. The mural is installed in the interior vestibule space of Amazon Air. The mural’s luminous palette captures aviation moments of landing and takeoff, showcasing two of the Amazon Air Fleet’s most iconic aircraft.

Incrementum (1128 x 216”) is an acrylic mural painted on composite panel commissioned by the Rotary Club of Hamilton. The mural is installed on the exterior wall facade of Max Stacy Flowers Inc, at the prominent downtown Hamilton intersection of High St. and M.L.K Jr. Blvd. Designed by Paul Loehl and created in collaboration with local artists Nicole Trimble, Carrie Pate, Sydnie Reatherford and Claire Talbot, Incrementum depicts a vibrant collage of symbolic pictorial elements. A dove, flowers, and Greek statue pay homage to an historical sculpture, the adjacent green space, Max Stacy Flowers, and the Rotary Clubs themes of Service Above Self, peace, growth, and hope.

Unity Mural (180 x 72”) is an acrylic mural commissioned by Shrine of St. Francis Xavier & Our Lady of Guadalupe installed in St. Dominic’s Church in southern Grand Rapids, Michigan. The artwork was commissioned as an invigorating architectural design element in the worship space of St. Dominic’s Church as well as a unifying work of art for St. Dominic’s and the Shrine. The Parish Patron Saints are depicted left, center, and right: Our Lady of Guadalupe, St. Dominic, and St. Francis Xavier. The other Saints represent diversity of life story and ethnic diversity: St. Mother Teresa, St. Jose Sanchz del Rio, St. Andrew Dung-lac, and St. Martin de Porres.

The Oldenburg Academy Mural (264 x 72”) is an acrylic mural commissioned by Oldenburg Academy and funded by the Batesville Area Arts Council. The mural spans a prominent interior hallway on the second floor of Oldenburg Academy’s main Academy Building. Designed and painted in collaboration with Senior Art student Anthony Alderson and the Oldenburg Academy’s art students, the mural exemplifies the beauty of the surrounding historical town and culture of Oldenburg as well as Christian themes celebrating Mary the Mother of God and the beauty of Creation.

St. Anthony of Padua Sanctuary Renovation (144 x 180”) is a restoration of the dome in the sanctuary of St. Anthony of Padua Maronite Catholic Church located in Cincinnati, OH. This renovation of the dome coincided with an architectural redesign of the church space and addressed stylistic concerns as well as general maintenance and restoration of the dome’s mural which had suffered weathering over the years.

The St. Al’s Mural (2 walls: 144 x 102” & 168 x 102”) is an acrylic mural depicting the school mascot of St. Aloysius Gonzaga School, an alligator, in its natural habitat. Commissioned by the school, the mural was designed as an enlivening architectural element celebrating the school’s mascot, as well as an artist residency to teach the students the art of mural making. Students of St. Al’s were taught how to make a mural and had the opportunity to participate in the creative process.
